Honorable Mentions

Ding ... The seatbelt sign turns on during descent through 10,000 feet. Under the wing is the northern coast of Meta Incognita, the southernmost peninsula on Baffin Island. Baffin Island, at over 500,000 square kilometres, is the fifth largest island on Earth. The total population is only about half of Gibraltar's. There is one paved runway, and no roads between communities. As a reference, those islands (Pugh, Resor, Pike, and Fletcher) off the wingtip are over 25 miles away. This is where you'll find First Air's eastern hub, with over 50 weekly flights north, west, and south.

Huge helicopter crash right below where this picture was taken. This was taken yesterday and the crash was today. So sad. 2 people dead, it landed on a group of cars waiting at the light so sad.
